About Fantasy iCal

A free, independent tool that keeps Premier League and Fantasy Premier League fans on top of every fixture, deadline and injury โ€” straight from the calendar app they already use.

What Fantasy iCal does

Fantasy iCal turns the Premier League schedule and official Fantasy Premier League (FPL) data into calendar subscriptions. Instead of manually adding fixtures or checking a website for the next deadline, you subscribe once and the events โ€” with reminders โ€” appear automatically in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook. When kick-off times move or a gameweek deadline changes, your calendar updates on its own. There's no app to install and no account to create.

Why it exists

This started as a personal fix for a familiar problem: forgetting the FPL deadline until it was too late, or missing a match because the kick-off had been rearranged. Existing options meant either cluttering your calendar by hand or trusting an app with your email and personal data. Fantasy iCal was built to be the opposite โ€” a simple, privacy-friendly utility that does one thing well: get the right football events into your calendar with zero fuss. It's run independently by a fellow FPL player, not a company.

Where the data comes from

Accuracy matters, so the data comes from established sources and is refreshed automatically:

  • Fixtures & results come from football-data.org and are refreshed daily.
  • FPL deadlines, injuries and team news come from the official Fantasy Premier League API and are refreshed hourly, so the injury list reflects the latest status changes.
  • Deadlines are calculated as roughly 90 minutes before the first kick-off of each gameweek, matching how FPL locks each round.

Free, private, and independent

Fantasy iCal is free to use. It doesn't require an account, and it doesn't ask for your name or email to generate a calendar. Running costs are covered by optional donations and advertising. Fantasy iCal is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League. All club and competition names belong to their respective owners.
